Hotline

Terms of Service

This is the agreement between you and B-59 Studio LLC ("B-59," "we," "us") for using Hotline. By creating a proposal, confirming a meeting, or otherwise using the service, you agree to it.

Effective July 4, 2026

The service

Hotline lets a host propose meeting times and share a link so someone else can pick one, without back-and-forth email. Hotline is currently in beta: features can change, break, or be removed with little notice, and we make no uptime guarantee.

Accounts

Hosts sign in to create and manage proposals. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in access secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think it's been compromised. Invitees never need an account.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use Hotline to send spam, harassment, or unlawful content.
  • Don't try to access another host's account, data, or connected calendar.
  • Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or build a competing product out of Hotline's non-public interfaces.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt the service — no automated abuse of the booking or notification systems.

We can suspend or terminate access for a violation of this section, scoped to the account responsible wherever practical.

Your content and your calendar

You're responsible for the accuracy of the meeting details, times, and locations you enter, and for having the right to connect any calendar you link. Hosts choose which times to offer — Hotline never publishes a host's full calendar or books a meeting without an explicit confirmation from the invitee (or the host, for host-side actions).

Third-party services

Hotline relies on other providers — currently Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Google/Apple calendars (when you connect one), Resend (email), and Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications). Your use of a connected calendar provider is also governed by that provider's own terms, and you can revoke that connection with them directly at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data with these providers.

Disclaimer of warranties

Hotline is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any scheduled meeting will occur as planned — a connected calendar or third-party outage is outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, B-59 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Hotline. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Hotline and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We can suspend or terminate an account for a violation of these terms, non-payment of any applicable fees, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — disclaimers, liability limits, governing law — do.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. For a material change, we'll post the update here with a new effective date and, where practical, give you notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use Hotline after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
