Bring your team in

Hotline is priced per organization rather than per seat, so adding someone changes what you can do together without changing the bill. This walks through creating the organization and getting the second person in.

  1. Create the organization

From your profile, create an organization and name it. This is the thing the plan attaches to — people join it rather than being bought one at a time.

  2. Invite by email

Send invitations from the members screen. An invited person sets up their own account and connects their own calendars; you never handle their credentials.

  3. Give people roles

Members schedule for themselves. Managers can see and arrange a team’s week. Which roles are available depends on your band — the comparison on the product page says which, per band.

  4. Set up delegated scheduling

On the bands that include it, one person can schedule on another’s behalf — an assistant arranging a director’s week, with every meeting landing in the right calendar and attributed to the right person.
